Компания Nikon реорганизует рынок компактных фотокамер класса премиум, выпуская новый ряд портативных моделей, позволяющий увлеченным фотографам постоянно совершенствовать свои навыки. Новый модельный ряд включает в себя три фотокамеры: Nikon DL24-85 f/1.8-2.8, Nikon DL18-50 f/1.8-2.8 и Nikon DL24-500 f/2.8-5.6. Каждая из них оснащена несъемным зум-объективом NIKKOR, оптика которого сравнима по качеству с той, что используется в объективах цифровых зеркальных фотокамер Nikon, и быстрой 1-дюймовой матрицей формата CX. С помощью любой фотокамеры Nikon серии DL можно делать снимки с разрешением 20,8 мегапикселей в формате JPEG или NEF (RAW) и снимать видеоролики в формате 4K/UHD с частотой 30p/25p.
Кроме того, каждая компактная фотокамера класса премиум Nikon DL оснащена отлично зарекомендовавшей себя расширенной системой гибридной АФ от компании Nikon, позволяющей чрезвычайно быстро «захватывать» объект в кадре. Процессор EXPEED 6A с четырьмя встроенными микропроцессорами является основным механизмом, обеспечивающим высокую скорость съемки фотокамеры: до 60 кадров в секунду при блокировке фокусировки по первому кадру или до 20 кадров в секунду при непрерывной АФ.
Система Dual Detect Optical VR (подавление вибраций) от компании Nikon позволяет выявлять и компенсировать эффект дрожания, и при этом каждая фотокамера отличается малым временем включения и быстрым откликом. Кроме того, каждая модель оснащена «горячим» башмаком ISO 518, на который можно устанавливать различные принадлежности, в том числе надежные вспышки Nikon Speedlight для цифровых зеркальных фотокамер. С фотокамерами Nikon серии DL можно использовать дополнительный отклоняемый электронный видоискатель DF-E1 с датчиком, обеспечивающий высокую четкость и контрастность изображений. Светосильный зум-объектив NIKKOR 24-85mm f/1.8-2.8 открывает широкие возможности съемки, а режим супермакросъемки позволяет снимать четкие и детализированные крупные планы. Данная фотокамера также оснащена наклонным сенсорным экраном ОСИД (OLED) разрешением 1037 тыс. точек и раскрывающейся вспышкой. На корпусе объектива имеется настраиваемое кольцо управления и кольцо зуммирования. Выпускается в серебристом или черном цветах.
